Client Safety & Suitability
How I approach suitability, informed participation and relevant health information.

Your Safety Comes First
Different people bring different circumstances, experiences and needs to a session. Before using a particular technique, Weronika may ask questions to understand whether the proposed approach appears appropriate within the scope of her training and practice. This is not a medical or psychological assessment.
Relevant Health Information
In some circumstances, information about your physical health, mental health, medication or current treatment may be relevant to whether a particular technique should be used or adapted. Where this information is necessary, VERICA aims to ask only for information that is relevant to the session and its safe delivery.
At launch, relevant health or mental-health information may be discussed verbally at the beginning of a session where necessary to assess suitability. VERICA does not routinely retain this information after the session.
Before Hypnosis
Before hypnosis is used, Weronika may ask whether there is anything about your current physical or mental health, medication, treatment or circumstances that may be relevant to your ability to participate safely and comfortably.
If there is uncertainty about suitability, Weronika may choose a different approach, postpone hypnosis, ask the client to discuss suitability with an appropriate healthcare professional, or decline to provide the relevant technique. This should not be interpreted as a diagnosis or medical opinion.
Mental-Health Scope
VERICA does not use hypnosis to diagnose or treat psychiatric disorders. Where there is reasonable concern that hypnosis may interact with a serious or unstable mental-health condition, VERICA may not proceed until suitability has been clarified by an appropriately qualified professional.
During the Session
Clients should tell Weronika if they experience discomfort, distress, dizziness, breathing difficulty or anything else that makes them want to pause or stop. A client may ask to stop a technique at any time.
After Hypnosis or Deep Relaxation
Where possible, VERICA recommends leaving approximately 30 minutes free after the appointment and making sure you feel fully alert before driving or doing anything that requires full concentration.
Reiki and Technical Interruptions
Distance Reiki may continue according to the way Weronika practises Reiki even if an internet connection is interrupted after the Reiki portion of the session has begun. Where practical, Weronika will attempt to reconnect afterwards or use another agreed contact method. This description reflects the practice of distance Reiki and should not be interpreted as a scientific claim about energy transmission.
